Ford Factory Fleet Ordering

Start Your Ford Fleet Order

There are two easy ways to begin your Ford commercial vehicle order.

If you need help choosing the right configuration, tell me what the vehicle needs to do and we can build it together. If you already know exactly what you want, you can build the vehicle using Ford’s Build & Price tool and upload the completed build PDF for review.

Before an Order Is Submitted

Every Configuration Is Reviewed

Whether you build the vehicle yourself or ask me to help configure it, we will review the order together before it is submitted.

  • Vehicle configuration
  • Engine and drivetrain
  • Payload and towing needs
  • Packages and options
  • Commercial upfits
  • FIN Code status
  • Pricing and availability
  • Expected order timing
Choose Your Starting Point

How Would You Like to Submit Your Ford Order?

Both options lead to a review with me before the final factory order is submitted.

Option 2

I Already Built My Vehicle

Already know the Ford configuration you want? Use Ford’s Build & Price tool to configure the vehicle, then save or download the completed build summary as a PDF.

Upload that PDF here and I can review the build, verify the configuration and contact you before the order moves forward.

  • Build your Ford online
  • Choose your desired options
  • Save the build as a PDF
  • Upload the PDF below
  • We review the configuration together
  • You approve the final order

Your Build PDF Is a Starting Configuration

A Ford Build & Price configuration does not automatically mean the vehicle can be ordered exactly as shown at the time the request is submitted.

Model-year changes, option availability, fleet requirements, commodity restrictions, order-bank status and other factors can affect the final order.

I will review the configuration with you before the vehicle order is finalized.

What Happens Next

How the Ford Order Process Works

No matter which path you choose, the vehicle is reviewed before the factory order moves forward.

1

Submit Your Request

Tell me what you need or upload your completed Ford Build & Price PDF.

2

Review the Configuration

We review trim, powertrain, drivetrain, capability, options and commercial equipment.

3

Confirm Pricing & Availability

Current pricing, fleet programs, availability and ordering requirements are reviewed.

4

Approve the Final Build

You review and approve the final vehicle configuration before the order is submitted.

5

Submit the Factory Order

Once the required details are confirmed, the order can be submitted through Ford’s ordering system.

6

Track the Order

I stay involved as order information becomes available through scheduling, production and delivery.

Option 1 • Guided Order

Tell Me What Your Business Needs

Complete as much of the form as you know. You do not need to know every trim, engine, package or option.

Tell me what the vehicle needs to accomplish and we can work through the configuration together.

Submitting this form begins the vehicle-order review process. It does not by itself constitute a vehicle purchase, final factory order, financing approval or guarantee of vehicle production or availability. Configuration, pricing, incentives, availability and other transaction details must be reviewed before an order is finalized.

Option 2 • Upload Your Build

Already Built Your Ford?

Upload the PDF from Ford’s Build & Price tool and I can use it as the starting point for your factory order.

1

Open Ford Build & Price

Select the Ford vehicle you are interested in ordering.

2

Configure Your Vehicle

Choose the trim, engine, drivetrain, packages, colors and options you want.

3

Save Your Build

Save or download the completed vehicle build summary as a PDF.

4

Upload the PDF

Submit the build below along with your business and contact information.

Uploading a Build & Price PDF does not place a vehicle order or authorize a purchase. The submitted configuration will be reviewed for current availability, compatibility, pricing, fleet requirements and other applicable ordering conditions before any factory order is finalized.

Need Configuration Help?

You Don’t Have to Know Every Ford Option

Many businesses know what job the vehicle needs to perform but do not know the exact engine, axle, package, body or option combination required.

We can work backward from the actual job and determine which vehicle configuration makes sense.

  • Towing requirements
  • Payload requirements
  • Passenger count
  • Cargo and equipment
  • Annual mileage
  • Jobsite conditions
  • Upfit requirements
  • Replacement timing
Use the Commercial Vehicle Selector

Think About the Job First

The best commercial vehicle configuration is not automatically the vehicle with the highest capability or the most equipment.

The goal is to provide enough capability for the job while avoiding unnecessary cost and equipment.

Ford Fleet Identification

Do You Have a Ford FIN Code?

Businesses that qualify for Ford fleet programs may purchase eligible vehicles through applicable fleet programs using a Ford Fleet Identification Number.

If you already have a FIN Code, include it with the order request. If you do not have one or are unsure whether your company qualifies, I can help review the requirements.

No FIN Code Yet?

That does not prevent you from beginning the order review process.

Submit the vehicle information you have and indicate that you do not currently have a FIN Code or are unsure.

Commercial Equipment

Plan the Upfit With the Vehicle

If the vehicle needs commercial equipment, it is useful to consider that before the factory configuration is finalized.

  • Van shelving
  • Partitions
  • Ladder racks
  • Toolboxes
  • Service bodies
  • Dump bodies
  • Flatbeds
  • Contractor bodies
  • Specialized equipment

Upfits Can Affect Vehicle Selection

Commercial equipment can affect payload, weight distribution, body configuration, electrical needs and total vehicle cost.

Planning it early can help prevent ordering a vehicle that does not properly support the final commercial application.

Commercial Financing

How Will Your Business Acquire the Vehicle?

You do not need to make the financing decision before submitting an order request, but reviewing the options early can help with planning.

Commercial Financing

Traditional commercial installment financing may make sense when the business expects to own and keep the vehicle.

Ordering More Than One Vehicle?

Both order methods can also be used by businesses planning multiple vehicles or future fleet replacements.

  • Multiple vehicles with the same configuration
  • Different vehicles for different employees
  • Phased replacement schedules
  • Future fleet expansion
  • FIN Code fleet purchasing
  • Commercial financing planning
  • Ford CLOC
  • Coordinated commercial upfits
Frequently Asked Questions

Ford Fleet Order Request FAQs

Does submitting one of these forms place a binding vehicle order?

No. Submitting either form begins the order-review process. The vehicle configuration, pricing, availability and other required details must be reviewed and confirmed before a final order moves forward.

What if I do not know how to configure the vehicle?

Use the guided order form. Tell me what the vehicle needs to accomplish and we can review the appropriate trim, engine, drivetrain, packages and equipment together.

What if I already know exactly which Ford I want?

You can configure the vehicle using Ford’s Build & Price tool, save the completed build as a PDF and upload it using the Build PDF form on this page.

Will you submit the exact PDF build automatically?

No. The PDF is used as the starting configuration. We will review current option availability, compatibility, pricing and ordering requirements together before the final factory order is submitted.

Can I submit an order request for multiple vehicles?

Yes. Businesses planning multiple vehicles can include the expected quantity and describe whether the vehicles need the same configuration or different configurations.

Do I need a Ford FIN Code?

Not every order requires a FIN Code. Businesses purchasing through eligible Ford fleet programs should review FIN Code eligibility. If you are unsure, indicate that on the form.

Can I include commercial upfits in the order planning?

Yes. Commercial equipment and upfits should often be considered before the factory configuration is finalized so payload, dimensions and application requirements can be reviewed together.

Can I finance the vehicle through the business?

Commercial financing options may be available depending on credit approval, business history and the financing program. Financing, TRAC leasing and other commercial credit options can be reviewed.

Can I submit a request if I need the vehicle several months from now?

Yes. Planning ahead can be useful because the order date may need to occur well before the date the business expects to put the vehicle into service.
